Notes: Today was an extremely productive day! I spent hours reading, and I was certain I would not finished my first book, which was The Cry of the Icemark by Stuart Hill, but I read it any time I wasn’t doing something else. And I finished it about 7:00 in the evening. I started at about 9:00 in the morning so, though I was not reading all day, I will say loosely it took me about six hours to read. It also completes two of the book challenges! Not only did I choose it among all my seven books with a coin toss to be the first, but it has a beautiful spine. For reference, this is what the spine looks like…
Anyway, so yes, I finished my first book, and in a moment I’m going to be writing a review for it (look forward to that on Wednesday).
Day 1 complete with amazing progress! The next book I’m going to read is Heidi by Johanna Spyri, since it’s a short, light read and it gives me a break after such an epic fantasy! Not only does it have a green cover, but I may read it while wearing a hat.
How are you doing with your challenge, if you are competing?
Great start! I look forward to the review.

I’ll take that as a compliment but I think I’m just lazy.
