Happy Monday! I hope all my lovely readers had a great Monday. Most people hate Mondays, but I was always the weirdo who looked forward to it, whether I had school or work or nothing at all. In a sense, for me it was always the start of something new.
Anyway, writing. I started out my book (I probably mentioned this in an earlier post) with five POV characters, but as I have continued writing, I find myself showing the majority of the scenes from only two characters’ perspectives. To be honest, these are my main characters and a lot of the scenes shown outside of their perspective are just side plots. Thus, from this point on, I’m only going to show the story from their POV, and in edits I’ll probably edit out any scenes from the other three characters’ perspectives.

Tips: To be a writer, you must write. If you can’t write fiction, try poetry or nonfiction. If you can’t write a thousand words a day, try five hundred or one hundred. But if you do not write anything, then you are certainly not a writer. Isn’t that the whole point of having a noun (writer) describing a verb (to write)?
Extra notes: I went outside for less than an hour today and already I got a multitude of mosquito bites. And everyone wonders why I prefer the indoors!
And if you can’t write fiction, poetry or nonfiction, just write blog posts! 😄You’re doing fine!

Exactly! Writing blog posts is surprisingly helpful in practicing writing! I’ve found myself becoming a much better writer since starting my blog.

I agree. My writing is nothing to shout about from the rooftop, but since I’ve started blogging, my writing has improved a lot.
