Christmas Cracker Book Tag

I mean, you know I have to do a Christmas book tag. I found this one and it looked fun and perfect for this time of year. As of when this post goes up, it’s Christmas Eve Eve! For those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas! For those who don’t, Happy Holidays!

I discovered this book tag here. As always, I was not tagged and I won’t be tagging anyone. Also, I feel as if this tag is shorter than many I’ve done (being only 7 questions as opposed to 10), but I like it anyway. Now, let’s get into it!

1. Find a book with a wintery cover.

There are lots of books which have wintery covers, but I happen to love this one! It’s a cute, really short book I read earlier this month, and one of the main reasons I read it was because of the beautiful cover!

2. Pick a book you’re likely to buy as a present.

I don’t have a book I’m likely to buy as a present, mostly because I give different books to different people depending on what their tastes are. Also, I can’t reveal any of the books I got for people close to me this year, because they might be reading this blog.

3. Pick a festive themed book.

I mean, I’m pretty sure this is the perfect festive book, and one of my favorites to read around this time of year. Not only is it a short, easy read, but it sends you into the perfect mood for Christmas.

4. Pick a book you can curl up with by the fireplace.

I only pick this book because I literally curled up by the light of my Christmas tree while reading it this past week. No, it has nothing to do with Christmas, but it’s a really fun, light read.

5. Pick a book you want to read over the festive period.

Not exactly a Christmas book, but I have been wanting to read this series forever and, during the next few weeks before my school starts up again, I really want to finish at least this first book.

6. Pick a book that’s so good it gives you chills.

This is the most recent book I read which gave me chills, both because it’s horrifying and because it’s so well-written and insightful! I did a review for it a while ago, so feel free to check it out if you’re curious to learn my full thoughts.

7. Pick a book going on your Christmas wishlist.

I have several books on my Christmas wish list,which I keep on Amazon, but many of them are English classics in Chinese (to help me learn Chinese better). This is the only one on my actual list which I really want to own! I loved this book when I read it a few months ago, but I haven’t bothered to buy it yet.
