I agree entirely! I really hope there is a sequel to the series, because the ending was definitely vague.

yes, I totally agree with your comment. I do prefer the CITT in drama series. The story line is depicted clearly and the characters involved are more realistic played their roles. I really hoping to watch the sequel of the story. The ending not really promising a happy ending to both of them. overall, I fell in love with the drama series and was repeatedly watching it. I am looking forward to watch the sequel of CTTT with the same characters played the roles. love to watch kim Go Eun and Park Hae Jin work together their chemistry vividly seen as they acted in CTTT.

I agree so much! The ending of the series was disappointing, but that movie made the ending look perfect. The chemistry with the actors wasn’t there, and without Kim Go Eun the movie wasn’t the same.

It felt like even the original actor didn’t like the movie and acting with a different Seol. You can see it in his eyes. He might’ve also asked himself why it’s not Kim Go Eun he’s acting with. His speaking voice in the movie is different from his voice in the series. The other supporting actors just ruined the whole thing. I was disappointed by its ending but was more disappointed with this movie. I don’t even want to acknowledge that the same Jung likes a different Seol (I loved Kim Go Eun’s portrayal that much).

I’m still hopefull that there will be a season 2 for the series even if it’s just 1 more episode. Just for clarity and closure.

At least the drama is definitely worth rewatching. I’m just going to pretend they never made a movie version.

I’m kinda sad that it weren’t the original cast, leaving only Park Hae Jin. I might as well settle rewatching the drama to see Hong Seoul played by Kim Go Eun (my bias).

I have never seen either the tv series or movie and searched for a review of the film. What I read was a litany of gripes about casting and pacing. But what about the story? Where was an actual review of the film? Plot lines and character development was completed ignored. In this era of just anyone writing reviews who have obviously little literary training, story structure analysis or even basic writing skills, the future of a literate review has bottomed out into a child-like diatribe of ” I don’t like so and so” much like high schoolers commenting on their classmates choice of clothing. There is nothing insightful about this review other than the lead male character is a sociopath and the lead female is insecure. Then what follows is a laundry list of what the reviewer doesn’t like in looks or portrayal of characters. Please, for goodness sake, take a few writing structure classes, become a bit more worldly and then return to writing for the public. You are not writing in your personal diary when you attempt to review a production.

I agree. Often times, movies just try to capitalize on the popularity of the TV series, without worrying about telling a compelling story.
