So, here I am, finally done with this challenge. On one hand, I’m glad to be done because my life has been so busy the last few weeks (both with the holidays and with selling my house). On the other hand, I did really enjoy the three books I managed to finish.
The final book count sits at: 3
The final page count sits at: 1,669 (plus about 150 more pages of books I didn’t finish)
The books I finished were: Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell, and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
The books I started but didn’t finished were: Terrier by Tamora Pierce (50 pages, DNFed), Claudius the God by Robert Graves (10 pages, I may come back but currently DNFed), The Canterbury Tales by Chaucer (108 pages, still reading it).
So…there’s that. While I didn’t do a great job, I did enjoy the idea of this challenge and I do want to read more tomes in general. Thus, I may come back to this challenge next year and make sure to schedule it when I’m not super busy.
What is your favorite tome? Let me know your thoughts down in the comments, follow my blog for more madness and, as always,
Best wishes in your life full of adventure,
