Triolet
(“A Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and 7th lines repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well. The rhyme scheme is simple: ABaAabAB, capital letters representing the repeated lines.”) (source)
I Dream of Beaches
I dream of beaches, bright and warm
I sometimes wish I could fly there
Where waves brush against my arm
I dream of beaches, bright and warm
The clouds announcing the coming storm
Warm sun mixes with the cool air
I dream of beaches, bright and warm
I sometimes wish I could fly there.
I live near the beach and I don’t even make use of it. 😄Delightful read!
