NaPoWriMo 2018: Day 18

Septolet

(“The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.”) (source)

Push and Pull

Cold ocean
strikes the grainy sand
gently.

Bitter winds
pull strong waves
away again.

(Yep…this poem is pretty darn boring. I decided I’m not a huge fan of Septolet poetry.)
