Food
A precious gift it is to eat
roast duck and beef
hot dogs and cheese
muffins, ice cream.
We take for granted the leisure
to stop, savor
that luxury
not just hurry.
But think for a moment of those
who starve and know
that food in dear
and death is near.
Incredibly profound! Actually, I just uploaded a ‘Minute Poem’ of my own onto my blog a few days ago. It’s linked below. I’d love it if you would read over it and leave me some tips on how to improve. With your incredible writing technique, I’m sure I can learn a lot from you. Powerful little poem. Sad how much food is thrown away while other starve day by day. Well done and very thoughtful.

Well said. Sometimes we tend to forget the starving and the hungered and take food for granted.
